Sometimes a photoshoot becomes more than a visual story - it transforms into a journey beyond the ordinary. That’s exactly what happened when I met up with Chrissie Seams, the extraordinary latex art figure, in a forgotten corner of the city: an abandoned industrial building, raw and decaying, with textures that whispered of the past.
Chrissie arrived in full character - an alien-inspired creation that blurred the lines between human and otherworldly. The latex suit, custom-designed and sculptural in its alien elegance, hugged every contour of her body like a second skin. Shimmering under the faint, dusty light cutting through broken windows, she became something entirely new: a creature from another dimension, lost in time and space.
The contrast between the cold, industrial ruin and the futuristic, synthetic sheen of Chrissie’s look created an electric tension. Every frame felt cinematic - part sci-fi, part art performance. Her movements were precise, almost robotic, yet filled with emotion. She didn’t pose - she transformed.
This shoot wasn’t about fashion or portraiture in the traditional sense. It was about storytelling, atmosphere, and the alchemy that happens when visual art, performance, and environment collide. The silence of the building, the sharp scent of rust and concrete, the surreal figure in latex - it all came together in a series of images that feel like stills from an unmade film.
Working with Chrissie Seams is always a creative deep-dive. She brings more than a look - she brings a presence. A character. A world. And in this forgotten industrial shell, we created something strange, beautiful, and entirely unforgettable.
